Every mom knows that going shopping with kids isn’t always an easy task. Being prepared beforehand will save you money and make your life a whole bunch easier. Here are a handful of my favorite free Money Saving SmartPhone Apps that every frugal mama should have!
Ibotta is a free mobile application that you can download on to your tablet or cell phone. With Ibotta, you get to pick rebates and unlock them by completing fun tasks. After you go shopping, you can redeem your tasks and take a picture of your receipt to verify your purchases. They have lots of stores and restaurants to choose from. The cool part about Ibotta is that you earn actual money and not points. If you join through this link, I’ll get a bonus! 🙂
With Saving Star, there is nothing to clip or print, everything is right there on your phone. A very convenient app- they have exclusive eCoupons that are redeemable at over 24,000 grocery and drug stores throughout the country. While making purchases, the app automatically adds the value of each eCoupon redeemed into your SavingStar accounts. You can then pick your payout- from cash to gift cards or charity donations.
3. Key Ring
If you’re like me, you hate toting around anything extra in your wallet or on your keyring. Key Ring is a really neat app that keeps up with your store loyalty cards so you don’t have to. Scan and store grocery cards, gift cards, gym cards, library cards, etc. Your loyalty cards scan straight from your phone at the checkout counter, saving you money instantly.
GroceryPall guides you toward weekly sales at your local supermarkets. There are savings from stores such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens CVS/pharmacy, RiteAid, Kmart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Harris Teeter, plus more!
5. RetailMeNot Coupons
Before you ever buy anything, make sure to check this app first. For instance, I always find coupon codes to use for when I order pizza online. They have coupon listings to almost all stores imaginable.
